Sweetest Day!

Good evening.
Hope everyone had a great weekend!
I wanted to share the card I made for my hubby for sweetest day. I used the challenge from this past week over at the Cuttlebug Spot. It was to do a project in Monochromatic theme.
Here is my take.....

The paper is from the DCWV fall paper stack...i think..lol. I cut the hearts out using Nesties in the Cuttlebug. I then embossed them with the floral screen embossing folder. Sweetheart was cut from the Sweethearts Cricut Cart. The three buttons and ribbon were in my stash.

MoJo Monday

Hi there!
Well it's Saturday and I finally got around to MoJo Monday. I just love their sketches!
Here is my take on this weeks sketch....

I used the traditional Disney colors on this... The little Mickey head is a cut & emboss combo using the Cuttlebug. The "Oh Boy" was cut from Mickey Font using the Cricut. Then I ran it through the Cuttlebug using Swiss Dots. The block it's mounted on was also run through the cuttlebug. I forget the name of that folder....sorry :( The patterned background paper is some Disney paper a bought awhile ago. I used two square brads on the side and did a little doodlin'!

Halloween Treat Bags

Hi there!
I just wanted to share the latest challenge we were asked to do over at the ScrappyFrogs Challenge Blog. Mindy asked us to create a Halloween themed bag using the 2-5-7-10 box from SplitCoast Stampers.

The Cat in the pumpkin is a cut file from MySrapChick. I embossed the pumpkin with the Distressed Stripes Cuttlebug embossing folder. The spiderwebs are punched from a Martha Stewart border punch. The little flowers are Prima and the flower center is a brad.

Now head on over and play along with us a ScrappyFrogs. We would love to see your take. Plus, there is a chance to win a great prize! Click the banner on my sidebar.

Browns Birthday

Good Morning!
I'm heading off to Disney World tomorrow for the Epcot Food & Wine Festival but I wanted to share one more card with you. My Cousin's birthday is next week so I wanted to get a card done before I left. My mom's going to mail it for me so it's on time...lol!
The layout is based on this weeks MoJo Monday sketch....

My family is big Cleveland Browns Fans ( I don't know why we put our selves through that) so that's where the colors come from. The football is from a Quick Cuts die. The paper is single sheet football paper from JoAnn's. The ribbon I found at Hobby Lobby and it's perfect for us Browns fans. The little dots are six orange eyelets. On the inside I stamped Happy Birthday and wrote "I hope your birthday is better than the Browns." For those of you that don't know they haven't won a game all year.....lol!

MoJo Monday Birthday

Good Evening!

I wanted to share a birthday card I made for a friend of mine.

I used this weeks MoJo Monday Sketch for my inspiration. It's been sooooo long since I've participated in a MoJo Monday challenge so this was A LOT of fun!

The paper is all from a K & Company fall stack...but now that I look at the photograph it kind of has a Christmasy look to it. Oh Well! Anyway, the stamp is one I found in the dollar bin at a local scrappin' store and it doesn't have a company on it. The circles and the scalloped circle are cut from Nesties. The little diamond shaped gold gems are adhesive gems I found at JoAnn's. The ribbon is from my stash.

Get Well Soon

Hi!
Hope everyone is doing well! I just got home from visiting my little niece. She is soooo adorable. I could just sit and hold her all night!
I wanted to share a card I made for my uncle who just had to have shoulder surgery. Everything went well and he is home recovering comfortably!
Here is the card I sent..,,

I used the Cuttlebug Pumpkin embossing folder but you can't really see it now that I look at it...lol. The Get Well Soon was cut from Beyond Birthdays. The two little leaves I got at Hobby Lobby...I think they were a pack of 8. The paper is from a fall stack. I got a little carried away with the purchasing of the fall stacks so I can't remember which one. Sorry :(

Shower Card

Good morning!
I just wanted to share a bridal shower card I made for tomorrow.

The bride's colors are Brown and Creme so I wanted to use those colors. The ring and box are from Sweethearts. The scalloped circles are nesties. I used a Martha Stewart punch for the lacy border. Congrats is cut from a tiny Quick Cuts die I found on clearance at Hobby Lobby just yesterday! Score! :) I embossed the tan background with the Cuttlebug Divine Swirls folder. I sprinkled a few adhesive pearls and I was done!

Tree Challenge

Two posts in one day! That's rare for me lately...lol!
I've recently been asked if I would like to join the ScrappyFrogs challenge blog by a fellow design team member from Sugar Sweet Paper Treats. SSPT has fallen apart since our team leader Cheryll has fallen ill, so Mindy asked those of us that were left if we would like to join her DT at ScrappyFrogs and of course I said YES!!
If you haven't checked out the site yet, you should. The link is on my sidebar. The current challenge over there is to use any type of tree on your project. There is also a chance to win a mystery goody bag. So hop on over!!!!
Here is my take.....

This is the outside. The tree is from DoodleCharms. The little gravestones and spider webs are punched from Martha Stewart border punches. The little bat is a brad. Creepy and the spider are both Studio G stamps if I remember correctly..lol

Here is the inside... again the spider webs are punched from a Martha Stewart punch. Happy Halloween, the tree and the spider are all Studio G stamps.
Thanks so much for stopping by
and don't forget to check out ScrappyFrogs and submit your project!

Medical Basket

Good morning,
I wanted to share another basket with you. This one is again for Sunrise, the assisted living place I do a lot of baskets for. They we're offering Flu Shots to the public and wanted to have a raffle.
Here is what I came up with....

The doctor and nurse bear a paper piecing patterns from My Scrap Chick. Check out the link on my sidebar. The stethoscope, ambulance, and nurse bag are all from Everyday Paper Dolls. The band-aid is cut from Indie Art. The pills are just ovals cut in white and red and white and blue. I cut the colored one in half and adhered it to the white. There is also a syringe but I now noticed you can't really see it. It was a clip art I turned into a cut file.
