I wanted to share a card I put together last week for my hubby's uncle who was having some back troubles. He had to get a round of shots in his back to help alleviate some pain.

He is doing much better now...so that was GREAT news.

The sketch was last weeks MoJo Monday. I LOVE their sketches!

The stamp is a House Mouse colored with Prisma pencils. I mounted them on some scalloped circles cut with Nesties. I embossed the blue layers with the Swiss Dots folder and the Herringbone folder. Hang in there is a stamp from Stampendous and cut out with a Nesti.

I wanted to share a card I made for my hubby's cousin that had to have surgery today. She is doing well and can go home this weekend. We are so relieved!

Her favorite color is light blue so I wanted to go with a blue themed card.

Anyway, here is the card I made her....

That adorable little bear is a digi stamp from KLMdigi stamps. I just fell in love with him. I colored him with my Prismas and added a little tiny bow on the blanket to give it a little oomph. The paper is from a Boy stack at Hobby Lobby. I can't remember the actual company. The flowers are Prima. The little photo corners were punched from an EKsuccess punch then I added a few adhesive gems.

Just wanted to share a quick card I made for a cousin that has to have a nerve block done in his back tomorrow. No fun! So hubby and I wanted to send a card letting him know we're thinking of him. I also found another great challenge blog that loves the Cricut as much as I do. It's called Just Buggin'. Check em out here. The challenge this time was to use an animal and by chance I did....

Here is goes.....

The scalloped circle is cut from a Nestie. The sentiment is computer generated then cut with a Nestie. The turtle was cut from Walk in my Garden. I pop dotted the shell to give it a little depth. The eye is a brad with a white dot on it. Some "manly bows" and I was done!

Get Well - Mojo Monday

Well it's Tuesday and I actually have a MoJo Monday done early in the week....wooo hoo!

My dad has a friend that was in a pretty bad car accident and asked him if I could make him a get well soon card. So here you go.....

The sketch as I said is this weeks Mojo Monday sketch. The stamp is a House Mouse. I colored them in with Prima's and Goo Gone. The paper I believe was My Minds Eye but I can't be sure. The circles are Nesties. I ribbon and pearls were from my Stash.

Hope everyone is doing well! I just got home from visiting my little niece. She is soooo adorable. I could just sit and hold her all night!

I wanted to share a card I made for my uncle who just had to have shoulder surgery. Everything went well and he is home recovering comfortably!
Here is the card I sent..,,

I used the Cuttlebug Pumpkin embossing folder but you can't really see it now that I look at it...lol. The Get Well Soon was cut from Beyond Birthdays. The two little leaves I got at Hobby Lobby...I think they were a pack of 8. The paper is from a fall stack. I got a little carried away with the purchasing of the fall stacks so I can't remember which one. Sorry :(

I wanted to share another card I did today.

This one is for a family friend who came down with double pneumonia. Poor thing is sooooooo sick, she wound up in the hospital.

Here is what I came up with...

The little bear in the bed is from My Scrap Chick. Isn't he just the cutest. They have the best paper piecing images over there. I just love them. Check them out here. I cut him out using SCAL and my Cricut. The scallops on the side are from an EKSuccess punch. The ribbon was from my stash. The little fuzzy brads I found at Archivers.

I wanted to share a card I made for one of my design team sisters that has been under the weather lately.

The paper is from a DCWV stack. I don't remember which one. The stamp is House Mouse - Bunny Boo Boo. I colored him with my Prisma colored pencils. I used my Stampin Up ticket corner punch around the stamped image and put brads in the insets. The ribbon was from my stash.

Here is one more card I did today. Sorry the picture is so dark. They don't come out good in the evenings. This one is for a family member who has to have a minor procedure done on Monday. Going to the doctor is never fun so I wanted to make a card.

For this one I used the House Mouse, Mouse Drops stamp. I colored it with Prisma Colored pencils. I cut the image out with my brand new Spellbinders Pinking Circles Nestabilites dies. I didn't think I would like them but I really REALLY do! The "Thinking of You" is cut from the Alphalicious Cricut cartridge. The black bar behind thinking of you and the beige band are both embossed with the Cuttlebug diamond in the ruff folder.

The paper is all from the new DCWV La Creme stack.

I ended up entering this card in this weeks (3/8) challenge at the House Mouse Challenge Blog. I usually play every week so Monday came around and it fit!

Well I found I new challenge blog I'm in LOVE with. It's called 365 Cards. They have a new challenge to create a card everyday. I hope I can keep up. That's a challenge in its self....LOL.
Challenge #4 was to use an ad as inspiration for a card.

Well my new Martha Stewart magazine came and I loved the cover with all the happy spring flowers so I used it as my inspiration.

Here is my card....
For this card I used a Stampendous Changito Bouquet Stamp. I just love those little monkeys. I colored the stamp with my Bic Markers and stickled his bouquet and the vine he's hanging from. The pink band at the base of the card was run through the Cuttlebug using the Floral Fantasy embossing folder. The vase I cut from the Walk In My Garden Cricut Cartridge. Then ran it through the Cuttlebug using Swiss Dots. And added a few adhesive pearls for the band. The flowers and stems were cut from Home Accents and flipped in Design Studio. I used adhesive gems for the flower centers and stickled

them. This was a really fun challenge! I made this card for a dear family friend who's been having some health problems. Hope it cheers her up.

Hope everyone is having a good Friday!

Just wanted to post a quick card I did this morning for a family friend who had hip surgery the other day. Lately I noticed I've had to do a lot of cards for men....which is WAY out of my comfort zone. Oh well, I like a challenge and I think I pulled them off O.K.

Anyway, about the card. I used House Mouse, Mouse Drops stamp. I used the Cuttlebug embossing folder Distressed stripes on the brown mat behind the stamp. The blue band is embossed with Swiss Dots. The stamped image is cut out with my beloved Nesties. I colored the stamp with my Prisma Colored Pencils.

Get Well Card

I made this card for my Aunt that just had to have shoulder surgery. She is doing well but is sad because she can't babysit her little grandaughter that's two. So I thought this may cheer her up.

I used Indie Art for the band aid. I embossed "get well soon" onto the center of the band aid with a cuttlebug embossing folder. And sprinkled a couple primas.

This blogging thing is fun!
