Baptism Basket

Good Afternoon!
Hope you're all having a good Thursday!
Well, I have another basket to show you today. This one is for my little niece's Baptism on Sunday. I'm having so much fun making these. In the bottom I had a little snow globe engraved from Things Remembered that has a little cross in it with a saying. I hope she likes it. I think it came out pretty good.

Here is a closer picture of the cuts.

The dove was cut from the Beyond Birthdays Cartridge at 5 1/2. I shadowed it in gold paper. The dove itself was cut from white glitter paper. I tied a ribbon around her neck and used an adhesive gold gem in the center of the bow. The twig is cut in metallic shiny gold paper. I strung adhesive gems all down the twig to give it a little more interest.

Faith was cut from Home Accents at 5. I shadowed it in white then cut it regular in gold paper. Then I used the shift key to cut just "faith" in the gold metallic paper. I sprinkled a few adhesive gems on the letters.

The Chalice was cut from My World at 5. I cut the top of the cup in the gold metallic paper. I cut the cross from the Wedding Solutions cart at one. I used a few adhesive gems at the base of the goblet. The host was cut from George using the circle cut. I cut two crosses from wedding solutions in the same paper and added it to the center so that it looks embossed but isn't.

The cross was cut from the Wedding Solutions cartridge at 5 1/2. I used the gold metallic paper to help the weaving stand out and a few adhesive gems.

The bible was cut from Locker talk at 6. I shadowed it in white and cut the "cover" in some awesome fabric like paper in gold. It looks a little wrinkly so I may do it over. The paper is great but it's kind of hard to work with. I scribbled down the white part to make it look more like pages. I used the cross from the wedding solutions cart to make the cross on the front

All in all I think it came out well!
Thanks for stopping by!
