Pink Elephant -MoJo Monday

Good Morning!

I'm a little late participating in MoJo Monday this week. I've been crazed. Such is life....LOL.

This weeks sketch at MoJo Monday was awesome as usual.

The card I did, I actually combined two challenges in one card. The challenge over at the Pink Elephant was to use the colors Pink, Green & Brown. This was my first time participating over there, so I'm so excited. Check them out!

Here is what I came up with.....
This card is for a family friend who just had her 70th Birthday!
For this card I used some paper from the DCWV Spring stack. The circles are my new Nestabilites Pinking Circles. The 70 was cut and shadowed from the Alphalicious cartridge. The pink and brown brads are called Sugar Coated but I can't remember who makes them. The ribbon was from my stash. I think it was from Michael's. The bow center is a pink balloon brad.

I also made this little purse to match the card. I had a gift card as a gift so I cut this little purse from the Tags, Bags, Boxes and More cartridge. I put two eyelets in the top the run the ribbon through to act as a handle. The flap of the purse was a piece of scrap from the card paper that I hand cut. The flower is a prima and I used a "skittle" as the flower center.

It was a big hit. It was the first time I used the purse cut so I think it came out well.
