Bridal Shower Invitations

Hi there,
Here is another reason I haven't been posting as much this week! I had my first "job" or "client" so exciting! A family friend asked if I would make her daughter's bridal shower invitations. I was so honored to be asked and so excited too. But, I realized there is sooooo much more pressure when your making something for someone else to give away instead of just giving it away yourself. But I think they came out great! She needed 45 and her color was dark green.
Here is what I came up with.....

For the front I used Bazzill Bling in Brown for the main invite. The green and cream solid are also Bazzill. I got the Patterned paper from Michael's and I believe it was My Minds Eye. I got the ribbon at Michael's also. The small flower was cut from Accent Essentials. I used a few adhesive pearls. The "please join us" was stamped. I forget who makes it. The bottom paper looks a little more tan in the picture but it's really dark green.

The inside was computer generated and printed on whitish cream cardstock. I used my EKsuccess photo corner punch to dress it up a bit.

Hope you like! Thanks for stopping by!

  2. Gorgeous invitation and I love the colors you used. Congratulations on your first client! I've enjoyed looking around your blog and seeing what you have done with your Cricut. I love my Cricut too, but don't have nearly as many cartridges as you. I'm envious! Have a good Thursday, Mary
