Wedding Card

Good morning everyone!
Hope you all are well! I know I'm still hit and miss with my blogging but I'm trying.... :)
I wanted to share a card I made for my Neighbors and good friends Ron & Rachel. They got married this past Saturday and had a terrific wedding!
Her colors were navy blue and pink.

I used the Sweethearts cricut cartridge for the Mr. & Mrs. cut. The "M" was cut from Storybook. The scalloped hearts are nesties. I used an EKsuccess punch for the navy photo corners. The little flower is a prima with a "skittle" center. I used a ton of hot pink adhesive gems to bling it out!

Thanks for stopping by!

Congratulations Ron & Rachel!!

More layouts

Good Morning!
I want to go back to posting a few more pages from my sister-in-laws scrapbook I made for her back in August.
This is the 4th of July page...

The big bear sitting with the flag is "Flag Bear" single pattern from My Scrap Chick. The paper I found at Archiver's. The font is from my Storybook Cricut cartridge. The little flag bear was a Scal download. I can't remember where I got it from. So if you happen to see it and it's yours please let me know so I can give you the credit.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Casino Night

Hi!
I wanted to share the Casino Night basket I did for the assisted living facility that my mom and I volunteer for. They were having a casino night and asked if I could make them a basket. And of course I said yes....
Here is my take....

The dice and the word lucky is from Indie Art. The casino chips are circles cut from George and the spades, hearts, clubs, and hearts are also cut from Indie Art. The cards are hand cut and then the numbers and letters were cut from a file from OpenClipart.org. The slot machine is a cut file from Denise's scrapbooking Room. She has some wonderful cut files over there. You really should check them out if you have SCAL! The cherries were cut from Hello Kitty Greetings.

Diaper Cake

Hi all!
I'm trying to get better at blogging. This summer just flew by and I just got out of the habit :)
Anyway, I wanted to share the diaper cake I made for my Sister-in-laws shower back in August.

I used cake board for the bases on the tiers. The diapers are held together with white rope and then there are three layers of ribbon around each tier. I cut the bottles and rattles that are spaced around each tier from New Arrival. The flowers are some bundles I found at Hobby Lobby taken off the stems and secured with "high tech"Scotch Tape. The tape is covered up with shredded cotton balls. I used the stork from New Arrival for the cake topper and put some cotton balls around the base of him.
I'm just so proud of how this came out! I wanted to keep it for myself...LOL!
Thanks for stopping by!

Fall Basket & a new baby!

Hey everyone!
I'm still around! August was a crazy busy month...I don't even remember what I did but I know I was a terrible blogger because of it! :)
I have some wonderful news....
My sister-in-law delivered a healthy, happy, precious little girl yesterday morning. Mom, baby and dad are doing well and are expected to go home tomorrow. Little Jillian Gabrielle was born at 10:14 am and weighs 6lbs 4 ounces! I've gone to visit twice already and am just totally in love!!!! I hope to share a picture with you all soon...
I'm going to take a break from posting the scrapbook pages for a sec and share a fall basket I just finished up!
I did this for the assisted living facility that you've all heard so much about for their Labor Day picnic.

I did this last week and can't remember exactly what was cut from what cartridge. The sunflowers were cut from Walk in my Garden. The pumpkins were cut from Happily Ever After and embossed with the Distressed Stripes folder. The wheat and corn were cut from My World. The leaves and autumn came from either Doodlecharms or Stretch your Imagination. The little scarecrow was cut from Paper Doll Dress Up. I added some real straw to give him the real feel.
I used some raffia to cover the presents in the bottom.
Thanks for stopping by!
I hope to be a better blogger now!
Congratulations to Adrienne & Jake! Welcome to the world little Jillian!
