Sunday sketch on Tuesday!

I'm loving the new 365 Cards Challenge blog. Every morning I hop on over and check out the new challenge. Every Sunday they have a sketch challenge. The photo on the right was this past Sunday's sketch. It looked pretty cool so I decided to play along.
Here is what I came up with......

For this card I used some green scraps left over from my St. Patty's Day cards. I flip flopped the layout. But left the sentiment where it was in the sketch. The cute little turtle was cut from the Walk in My Garden cartridge. The band across the middle was embossed with my Cuttlebug using the Just My Type border set. The sentiment was also cut using the Cuttlebug using the Birthday cut/emboss combo. I distressed most of it with Tim Holtz Distress ink. Thanks for stopping by and checking it out!Have a great St. Patrick's Day!

  2. I love your card ... I like the band across the middle ... I don't have one of those just the Cricut. Which I don't seem to use all that often making cards, you'd think I would use it a lot! Very cute!

  4. ok, this is SO freakin' CUTE! I love that little turtle! Do you have a cuttlebug AND a Cricut? (I guess I don't know the lingo and was thinking "cartridge" went with the Cricut.) I just want to know if you like having both (if indeed you do!)
    Great job on the challenge!
