Baptism Card
Hi again,
I cut the dress on blackout at 7 1/2 from Paper Doll Dress Up. It's actually the Princess dress. I ran the dress through the Cuttlebug using the Textile Texture folder. The ribbon is from my stash. I tied little bows and added adhesive pearls for the center and used some extra for the streamers.

Spring is in the air!
Good evening.
Baptism Basket
Faith was cut from Home Accents at 5. I shadowed it in white then cut it regular in gold paper. Then I used the shift key to cut just "faith" in the gold metallic paper. I sprinkled a few adhesive gems on the letters.
The Chalice was cut from My World at 5. I cut the top of the cup in the gold metallic paper. I cut the cross from the Wedding Solutions cart at one. I used a few adhesive gems at the base of the goblet. The host was cut from George using the circle cut. I cut two crosses from wedding solutions in the same paper and added it to the center so that it looks embossed but isn't.
The cross was cut from the Wedding Solutions cartridge at 5 1/2. I used the gold metallic paper to help the weaving stand out and a few adhesive gems.
The bible was cut from Locker talk at 6. I shadowed it in white and cut the "cover" in some awesome fabric like paper in gold. It looks a little wrinkly so I may do it over. The paper is great but it's kind of hard to work with. I scribbled down the white part to make it look more like pages. I used the cross from the wedding solutions cart to make the cross on the front
All in all I think it came out well!

Spring at the Cuttlebug Spot.
For this card I used my new Stampendous Fluffles Grasshopper stamp and colored him with Prisma colored pencils. I just love him. I got all the paper at Archiver's and it has a great shine to it. The striped band I embossed with the Cuttlebug Folder Leafy Branch. I used Nestabilities on the scalloped circles. I embossed the yellow one with the Cuttlebug Swiss Dots folder. I cut a square in the center of the yellow with my square Nesties. The stamp is on a separate sheet of card stock matted in green. The yellow circle is pop dotted so the stamp seems to be down inside. The ribbon was from my stash and the flower is a Prima. I put a yellow skittle in the center. I also doodled along the edge of the yellow paper with a purple gel pen.
Thanks for stopping by to check it out!

Black & White Basket
The bride is using a black and white theme. But the cool thing is all her flowers are red for that splash of color. The colors look so awesome in this basket that I can't imagine how classy a whole hall would look decked out.
Here's a closer look.........
All the cuts came from the Wedding Solutions cartridge and layered and layered to give them depth.
The dress was cut at 6 1/4 on shadow, blackout and normal. I used a few adhesive rhinestones to pretty it up and some "skittles on the train. The back part is glitter paper so it really shines. I added a ribbon around the waist to soften it up a bit.
The tux was also cut at 6 1/4 on shadow. I used glitter paper for the lapels and bow tie. The buttons are skittles small and one large one. I shadowed the arms with a black Prisma. The white "shirt" I used white shiny paper from M's that looks like it has pinstripes. I think it looks so cool!
The glasses were cut at four and shadowed. All the paper on these are glitter. I again added some bling and found the ribbon at JoAnn's. The "bubbles" are mini "skittles".
The doves were cut at five. I used this swirly paper from M's so it looks like they have feathers. The black heart is glitter paper and a few rhinestones for pop. I used liquid glass to highlight eyes and line the wing.
These bells are probably my favorite. I cut them around four times I can't remember. All the paper on these are glitter so they really sparkle. I added rhinestones around the band and two for the dingy part. (love that technical term) and added the same ribbon from earlier to the top.
This heart was cut at 7 and shadowed. All papers here are glitter as well.

Two challenges and One Happy Birthday!
I ended up getting two challenges done while getting a birthday card out of it....LOL! The challenge over at the House Mouse challenge blog was this sketch. Also, over at 365 Cards the challenge this past Friday was to create a birthday card with only the colors red, blue and yellow.
I poured through my stash and found the perfect papers. I really like the way the card came out but sometimes it seems a little girly. I may make him a new one.
Here is what I came up with. I used the House Mouse Ball & Tees stamps. I colored him with my Prisma colored pencils. The circle is my Nestabilites Pinking Circles layered a bunch of times. The cupcake was a Studio G I found in the dollar bin at JoAnn's. The "Fore You" is stamped using Martha Stewart Alphabet clear stamps. I doodled a bit and I was done.
5 for 5 at 365!
The challenge over at 365 last Wednesday was to use 5 pattern papers and 5 embellishments! WOW! Seems pretty difficult. I admit I was a little intimidated by this but REALLY wanted to try. Here is my go at it...........
The paper all came from the DCWV Spring stack. The background stripes is matted on plain red paper. The little monkey is Changito from Stampendous. He's one of my favs. I colored him with Prisma Colored pencils and cut him out with Nesties. I layered him on another patterned paper and cut that with Nesties also. The two diamonds on the side are similar papers from the same stack also cut with Nesties and turned sideways. The band on the bottom is paper from the same family and the scallop border is printed on that band. So those are my five papers.
My five embellies are the two buttons on the side diamonds. I found that adhesive Appreciation ribbon at JoAnn's and it fit perfect. It was the same blue in all the papers. The two little flowers on the corner of the stamped image are Primas and the two flower centers are skittles.
Sunday sketch on Tuesday!
Here is what I came up with......
For this card I used some green scraps left over from my St. Patty's Day cards. I flip flopped the layout. But left the sentiment where it was in the sketch. The cute little turtle was cut from the Walk in My Garden cartridge. The band across the middle was embossed with my Cuttlebug using the Just My Type border set. The sentiment was also cut using the Cuttlebug using the Birthday cut/emboss combo. I distressed most of it with Tim Holtz Distress ink. Thanks for stopping by and checking it out!Have a great St. Patrick's Day!
